What should I put in my shredding bag?

Any unwanted documents that contain sensitive financial and personal information, including: 

  • Credit card statements
  • Pay stubs
  • Utility bills
  • Medical records

Do I need to remove staples, paper clips and rubber bands from my documents?

No. Our industrial-grade shredders destroy these non-paper items as well!

How much paper can I fit in a shredding bag?

You can fit approximately 22 kilograms of paper in a Shred Express security bag. They are similar in size to a yard waste bag.

How do I purchase a shredding bag?

Simply call us to order a Shred Express security bag.

Where do I drop off my shredding bag?

You can drop off your shredding bag at either our Saint John, New Brunswick or St. John’s, Newfoundland locations. Please see the maps on this page for directions and drop off times

Do you offer residential pickup of shredding bags?

No, not at this time.

Are my shredded documents recycled?

Yes, we recycle all shredded material so it can be used to produce a wide variety of post-consumer paper products.

How much does a shredding bag cost?

Our Shred Express security bags only cost $34.99 or 3 for $89.99 and include the cost of secure destruction of the contents.
